Wild Endurance 2010
It was weeks in the planning, including warm-up walks and buying enough equipment to safely trek through the Blue Mountains overnight. And we made it: the ‘Night Walkers‘ finished in just under 27 hours and raised over $3,000 for The Wilderness Society.
I took some photos during the event and warm up walk. As a gesture of thanks, I’d like to offer a print to each of our marvellous crew members and those supporters who could donate $50 or more. The images that I think will print best are shown below, but you can view all of the photos in the Wild Endurance 2010 set on flickr. I’m still finalising the details of the printing; do get in touch with your preferred photo.
We shouldn’t let The Wilderness Society‘s poorly timed management meltdown detract from a great effort: over 500 walkers and many volunteers raising $250,000+ for Australia’s environment.
